Mormons in many parts of the country DO practice polygamy, they believe it is their sacred right. I believe it was in ancient rome where men kept little boys for sex. Perhaps someone will decide to worship the Roman gods and decide that practice should be revived. The government cannot pander to ANY religion. Otherwise it opens a can of worms far more viruelent than the one that would be opened by allowing gay marriage.

In schools it's mostly just that the teachers and staff cannot initiate prayer or speak on religious matters. There are schools I've heard of that dissallow the carrying of a bible but I would challange that. There's no law against carrying a bible that would hold up in court. If it ever comes up, I hope you dispute it all the way. I'm sure you'll win too.

2004-11-23 [Snowboarding Hobitz]: kinda bummed, rememeber how i wasen't sure if i was gonna stay home or not...well, i did *duh* and now that I did, nothing happened, my mom went to work and is gonna be gone untill dinner, If i knew this would happen I would have just gone to school with my friends.....so bummed, now i'm stuck babysittin (i think i'm gonna cry)
